Refund Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
This covers paid online consultations and marketplace orders. Providers and sellers deliver these services, and HowBody helps make refunds fair when something goes wrong.
Online consultations
- Full refund if the provider does not show up, cancels, or the session cannot happen due to a technical failure on our side.
- Full refund if you cancel before the consultation starts and outside any window the provider has set.
- Once a consultation has taken place, the fee is generally non-refundable, because the provider’s time and advice have been given. If you believe the service fell seriously short, contact us and we will review it fairly.
Marketplace orders
- Refund or replacement if an item is not delivered, arrives damaged, or is materially not as described.
- Report a problem within 7 days of delivery (or of the expected delivery date if the item never arrives).
- For health and safety reasons, some products cannot be returned once opened unless they are faulty. Any such limits are shown before you buy.
How to request a refund
Raise it in the app on the relevant order or consultation, or email hello@howbody.app with your account email and what went wrong. We aim to respond within a few working days and to resolve valid requests promptly.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method (for example the mobile-money account or card you used). Processing times depend on your payment provider. Payment-provider fees, where they apply, may not be refundable.
Your legal rights
This policy is in addition to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law that applies to you. Nothing here removes those rights.
