How we verify that a provider is really who they say they are

Trust is the whole game in health. A walkthrough of the documents, checks and human review that stand between a registration form and a verified badge.

How we verify that a provider is really who they say they are

A verified badge on HowBody is a promise. To keep it meaningful, every provider, whether a hospital or an individual professional, passes a structured review before they appear.

Two paths, two document sets

A facility uploads proof of ownership, its operating authorization, and its current licence. An individual professional uploads their national ID, their qualification certificate, their council or order registration, and a current practising licence, plus a live selfie.

Machines flag, humans decide

An automated screen checks each application against normal standards and flags anything incomplete or suspicious for a closer look. A person then reviews the documents and either approves or rejects. Nothing is auto-approved.

The result is a directory patients can actually trust, and a public profile that a genuine professional has earned.
